Improve your flow with heels and non-heels choreo classes.

Choreo 1: Liquid Motion

Who it’s for: No pre-requisites, but some pole experience is recommended.

When it’s offered: Fridays

What you’ll learn:  Liquid Motion is a class devoted to the art of sensuality-based floor (no pole) flowing: knee pivots, shoulder rolls, shoulder stands, thread-throughs, and sweeping movements. Students will be compelled to focus on acceptance of their physical and mental self and explore the variations that they can create, around the base of the pole. Clothing layers are recommended.

Who it’s for: Students who have explored static spins, wishing to learn a routine in heels. Generally students should take 3 Pole 1 classes or receive instructor approval to progress.

When it’s offered: Tuesdays

What you’ll learn: Heels 1 is both for the new dancer who would like to get comfortable in heels, and the seasoned dancer who would like to hone their technique and add flavor to their performance. This class will focus on conditioning, movement skills in heels, and ways to amp up your performance, while learning a choreographed routine.

If you are new to heels, a loaner pair may be available for use during class. Please contact the instructor in advance to reserve a pair: hbrider33@hotmail.com

Choreo 2: low flow

Who it’s for: Students who feel comfortable with a variation of static spins, and pirouettes, wishing to learn a short choreographed routine while becoming more confident dancing at the base of the pole. Generally students should take 5 Pole 1 classes or receive instructor approval to progress.

When it’s offered: Wednesdays

What you’ll learn: Improve your sense of musicality, lines, and expression with the use of dynamic and contrasting movements on the pole. In this class you will learn a unique, stylized routine designed to increase your pole dance vocabulary while also focusing on musical and emotional connectivity. We will work the base of the pole with static spins, floor work and transitions between moves.

heels 2: russian exotics

Who it’s for: Students ready to advance their exploration in heels. At least 3 Heels 1 classes or instructor approval.

When it’s offered: Mondays

What you’ll learn: This is sexy-style pole choreography, with a focus on pivoting on the ball of your foot, and sweeping legwork to gain momentum on the floor and around the pole.

Learn fundamental Russian-style exotic legwork and heel play! What sets this class apart from old school American stripper-style? Russian exotics is about faking flexibility and subtly emoting sensuality from every inch of your body. Lose yourself in relevé pivots, body rolls, and a little floor work.

Who it’s for: This is an open level class. We welcome all students.

When it’s offered: Sundays

What you’ll learn: This class focuses on both structured and free movement. Using instructor-led exercises, students will utilize their movement vocabulary to gain confidence in their abilities to use both low flow pole and floor work.

Open level: Own your movement

Who it’s for: Open level studio space with instructors available for questions and spotting.

When it’s offered: Fridays, Sundays

What you’ll learn: Come into the studio to practice the moves or skills of your choice. Instructor will be available for spotting and questions. Crash pads are available for use as well.
